STACK Seaburn tuning up for a great New Year

STACK Seaburn tuning up for a great New Year

ONE of Sunderland’s newest and most exciting venues is planning to bring in 2022 in fine voice – thanks to a huge sing-along event to see in the new year.

STACK Seaburn is preparing for Sunderland’s party of the year, with plans for a Kroud Karaoke party on 31 December where people will be able to spend the night singing their favourite songs.

Kroud Karaoke has become a regular occurrence at STACK Seaburn, following its success at STACK Newcastle and other events across the region.

The formula of everyone joining in to sing some of the most-loved songs of all time has been hugely popular and a great way to celebrate during the festive season.

The good news is that people don’t even need to wait until New Year to take part, with Kroud Karaoke sessions being held on 27 November and a special Christmas themed night on Saturday 18 December.

The New Year’s Eve event will be ticketed and are available from today at £10 plus booking fee per person.

Kevin Walker, Entertainments Director at Danieli Group, which owns STACK Newcastle, believes it will be sell-out.

“Kroud Karaoke has become a favourite event among our customers at STACK Seaburn, so it made sense to celebrate the end of 2021 and welcome in the New Year with this interactive event,” he said.

“We didn’t get the chance to celebrate last year so this year we want to make it really special and social – what better way than to get together with friends and families to sing along to Karaoke classics and enjoy the festival style atmosphere.”

STACK normally operate as a walk-in venue, but for New Year’ Eve the event will be ticketed to manage capacity and give customers guaranteed entry.

Entry will be from 8pm and tables are on a first come first serve basis. All the street food vendors will be open serving their full menus, and there will be a live DJ to get the party started.

Neill Winch CEO of Danieli Group, owners of STACK Seaburn added:

“We have been thrilled by the reception Stack has received in Sunderland, we opened in the middle of a pandemic and the customer support we have received has been phenomenal. We hope that our customers will come and join us for a massive celebration to end the year on a high.

“We are already looking forward to bringing more great events to STACK in the new year and making it the most vibrant entertainment venue in Sunderland.”

Early bird tickets will be available to buy online at www.stackseaburn.com

Once the discounted tickets have sold out regular tickets will be released for sale at £12.00 plus booking fee per person.

STACK Seaburn will welcome families  to the venue during the day on New Year’s Eve with a plans for a kids entertainer and live music from Emerald Thieves in the afternoon before closing for the ticketed event.
